HE STARTED HIS CAREER IN 1984 AS FINANCIAL CONTROLLER/ VP IN CITIBANK JAKARTA. HE THEN SPENT HIS NEXT FOUR YEARS IN SEVERAL ROLES AT ASTRA FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP. STARTING AS FINANCIAL CONTROLLER FOR BANK UNIVERSAL AND AFS (ASTRA FINANCIAL SERVICES) GROUP, HE BECAME THE MANAGING DIRECTOR FOR PT. ASTRA SECURITIES.
During the same year in 1996, he became the business manager for investment banking of Bank Universal. Hadi then became the CFO for Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia, before taking the CFO role for PT. Matahari Putra Prima Tbk. in 1999-2001. He also served as the Group CFO for two private groups DSU and CBS Holdings, before became the CFO for GE (General Electric) Capital in 2006-2008. His next career was the Managing Director for PT. MHU Coal, before eventually starting his own venture in business advisory and financial consulting through PT. Vcap Visitama.
